Photobook Design

So I used more pictures from my time in Yosemite to create this spread. I liked the green-ish tone that a few of the pictures have, so I’m leaning toward that color. I think that a soft, blue-green is a nice almost neutral color that adds depth and variety. I like the idea of having white pages because I like the cleanliness of it. I might switch to a light gray, or even a cream.

    Sarah,

Cool pictures! I like the choice of the white background, it really keeps the focus on the images. The text is a little hard to read, maybe play around with the colors or put it on the white background. Good job so far!

Good use of the rule of thirds. I also like how you used white space on the first page so that it adds contrast to your images. Great landscape picture!

    Sarah,
I really liked that you had a banner. You may want to keep some space between that banner and the large picture because in an actual book you’d need gutter space. I like the white space as well.

Take a look at what Michael did.
